Rave Revues - Voices (LP)

Voices is the first release from Mississauga band Rave Revues, recorded just before singer Wolfe Butler was paralyzed in a tragic attack outside of a club where the band was playing. The album was released on the band’s own Lunar Groove Records in 1984, and fantastic moon-lit DIY wave, reminiscent of Iron Curtain, Iko-83 and Degrees of Freedom. Kris Bolter’s haunting flute playing sets the group apart from their peers, especially on the album’s incredible closing track Have You. The band members themselves don’t even have copies of this very rare album. Essential Canadiana.

VG+ vinyl looks unplayed, some wear and yellowing on the cover from age.
