Stunning self-released single from Nat King Cole’s brother Freddy, from 1975. The A-side is a spiritual jazz instrumental meditation on mortality, propelled by Freddy’s gliding Fender Rhodes and Joe Jenning’s levitated sax. The B-side is an easy and wistful ballad built around Eddie Edward’s capacious bassline. Highly recommended!
