West Coast folk singer and transcendental meditation practitioner Linda Waterfall released My Heart Sings on her own Trout Records in 1979. An overall solid LP in the key of ‘70s Joni, the real centrepiece for us is My Name is Maya, a free-spirited AOR jam laced with irresistible congas, fretless bass and flute. This is Pacific barefoot Balearic at its best.
